Projects
Below are some projects I have completed within my classes and in past roles. I have learned so much throughout my years at UT, and it has grown my passion for strategic thinking!
The Salvation Army Media Campaign
Through my time in the Texas Media & Analytics Program, our final project was to create a comprehensive media campaign for The Salvation Army, a client on the LERMA Agency in Dallas, Texas. Our challenge was to reach a younger donor base. I learned so much through this campaign about using the correct mediums to reach the correct audience, as well as having concrete ways to measure success. We presented the final pitch to LERMA at their headquarters, and won "best overall media plan" with particular praise on how our executions related well to the goals and objectives laid out by the RFP. This was ana amazing opportunity I will alwys be thankful to TM&A for!

Create Amor Brand Strategy
In my capstone course at UT, we acted as a class agency, giving everyone different departments and roles. I was acting as the strategy director, so I led my team through the strategic process. We came up with ideas for the brand, Create Amor, from our research findings. I led weekly department meetings, attended meetings with other department directors, and led the final strategy pitch to the client. I learned so much about being a leader and creating a brand strategy for a real-life client. It was an amazing opportunity!

Ol Pejeta Conservancy Campaign
In my course Integrated Communications Management, we created an awareness campaign for the Ol Pejeta Conservancy 's efforts to save the last two northern white rhinos in the world. During this campaign I completed a situational analysis for the organization, and created a media strategy from our partnership ideas. This campaign taught me a lot about how create a story for a brand, and showing the audience why they should care about issues that don't seem to affect them directly.


Round Rock Honey Campaign
This past semester I worked on a theoretical media campaign for Round Rock Honey here in Austin, Texas. Hypothetically, they are launching a new location in Asheville, North Carolina and I was tasked with finding the target audience for the new location, as well as the mediums the team was going to use to create brand awareness. This project has taught me a lot about researching the right details on a target market and being creative when thinking of new ways to reach them. I was able to develop an insight revolved around creating an experience for the customers in the new location, increasing brand awareness.
Kando Gear Social Media Campaign
During my time at Kando Gear I have been fortunate enough to establish and grow the social media channels. Attached are the links to the TikTok account that continues to have solid engagement. My strategy behind the socials was to stay up to date with trends, and to use visuals, language, and sounds that are familiar with our target audience. It has been a challenge to start the socials from nothing but it was an amazing learning opportunity. I have learned a lot about how to properly interact with viewers and followers online while representing a company’s values and goals.
